Excellent! Probably purely coincidental, but getting I'm getting major House of Leaves vibes from this.

Thanks! I loved House of Leaves! :)

Just finished my first session. It was beautiful, felt like walking through an alien museum of artifacts. I second what Gerhard said about it being real immersive by the fact you have to rely on you senses so much. Took me a couple minutes to stumble onto the first object but then I found them left and right. Nice touch with the Minotaur/Fish thing. Pooped my pants right there.

Walking speed is good in my opinion, albeit that the stairs caused me some trouble.

Good work, I'm really enjoying it.

Thanks! Really glad you're enjoying the game. Yes, yes, the stairs... Still trying to figure out a good solution to get them working right, I will update the game as soon as I figure it out.

This game really is a little gem. I like the look and the feeling of being lost it conveys. The simplistic, repetitive architecture supports the various special shapes as interesting landmarks and got me curious to find more of them. I also really like the informational reduction and requirement to focus just on my senses without any kind of further advice. That way your game feels more like an aesthetic experience than a "game" in the classic sense. The fact that the enviroment is procedural generated and thus becomes my own unique experience gives it an interesting intellectual and artistic touch.

Personally I find the walking speed fitting; stairs are a little bit glitchy though sometimes and the walking sound feels repetitive after a while.

Waiting to check this out, looks really good in the trailer

Edit:

Played the game, the walking speed is too slow so after 30 minutes I found only a fountain and restarted the game a few times because I felt like I am going the wrong direction and walking speed was too slow to go back.

Would be nice to have some basic purpose and please faster walking speed.

Good luck with the rest of the development!

Thanks for downloading and your feedback! I appreciate it.

Yes, I left the walking speed so slow on purpose, but you're right, maybe it is a tad too slow.

There's no wrong direction to go, so don't worry. You can always just exit the game, and when you come back, you will always start in your first room. The rest stays the same. :)
